It was all in the way they were molded. It doesn't fit 4dr hardtops, nor was used by Chevrolet, Oldsmobile or Pontiac. The result is that often there are chunks missing, especially on neck stretches up, since it even thinner in spot.

This has no chunks missing, and cracks.

And I have to do the revising before you pay. If offers are paid separately. Just don't go hog-wild screwing it down, or you'll have a problem.

Of course, if you did that to a brand new one back in 1968, you'd have the exact same problem. The plastic on this is thin, and these had a tendency to be somewhat brittle, even when new.

The screw hole is also intact not broken through - another weak spot on these.
