This is a core for rebuild. This is a used drivers left side vent window assembly taken out of 1957 Chevy 4 door hardtop no post car. It has a part number on the top and that is see picture 9.

Also, it looks like one of the mounting bolts was drilled out - see last picture. It needs to be taken apart and the frame sandblasted painted, stainless trim polished a show shine, then re-assembled with new rubber, felt, vent window. This will fit the '55-'57 Chevy and Pontiac 2 door hardtops '56-'57 4. That may require a slightly larger headed bolt than factory when re-installed.

It will not fit the sedans post cars, wagons, or nomads. I bought this with the intention of using it on a nomad, but wouldn't fit because apparently nomads have vent window assemblies unique to them. Rebuilding this core could save a significant amount of money over buying new assembly.
