This vintage distributor, with its rich history dating back to the mid-1950s, is a must-have for enthusiasts restoring or customizing their classic Mopar vehicles.

The Auto-Lite Power EWW 4001 Volt Distributor is a critical component of your ignition system, responsible for delivering the high voltage spark to ignite the air-fuel mixture in your engine's cylinders. This distributor, in particular, is identified by its 4001 voltage rating, making it suitable for higher performance applications.

This distributor, model number 1436729, was originally manufactured in 1953, as evident by the 'NOS' (New Old Stock) tag. Being in its original, never-used condition, it is a rare find for those seeking a pristine, authentic part for their classic Mopar vehicle.

Furthermore, this distributor is compatible with various models, including 1951, 1952, 1953, 1954, and 1955 Mopar vehicles. Its universal fit makes it an ideal choice for those restoring multiple classic Mopar vehicles or those seeking a replacement part for their existing vehicle.

In conclusion, this 1951-1955 Auto-Lite Power EWW 4001 Volt Distributor is a valuable addition to any classic Mopar enthusiast's toolkit. Its authenticity, rarity, and universal fit make it an excellent choice for those seeking to restore their classic Mopar vehicles to their original glory or to enhance their performance potential.

I assume you're referring to a 1951-1955 classic car, specifically a model with a 1955 Auto-Lite Power Pack (4001 volt), a 1952 windshield, a Mopar NOS (1953) engine, and a 1954 motor. Here are some pros and cons to consider if you're considering purchasing this vehicle:

Pros:

1. Rarity: With a unique combination of parts, this car stands out from other standard classic models.

2. Customization: The mix of parts allows for a customized driving experience, catering to your specific preferences.

3. Historical significance: Owning a classic car is a way to connect with automotive history and demonstrate an appreciation for vintage vehicles.

4. Potential for value appreciation: Classic cars can be a good investment if they are well-maintained and in good condition.

Cons:

1. Parts availability: As this car is a unique combination of models, finding specific replacement parts may be challenging and costly.

2. Maintenance: Classic cars require regular and sometimes expensive maintenance to keep them running optimally.

3. Insurance: Classic car insurance can be more expensive than traditional car insurance, and it might not cover the car during daily driving.

4. Limited modern features: Classic cars often lack the latest safety and convenience features found in newer vehicles.

In conclusion, buying a 1951-1955 classic car with a unique combination of parts can be an exciting venture, offering a blend of rarity, customization, and historical significance. However, potential buyers should be aware of the challenges associated with owning a classic car, such as parts availability, maintenance costs, insurance, and limited modern features.

If you're willing to put in the time, effort, and money required to maintain this unique vehicle, it could be a rewarding experience. Otherwise, you might want to consider a more traditional classic car or a newer vehicle that better suits your needs and budget. Ultimately, the decision should depend on your personal preferences, financial situation, and willingness to invest in a classic car.
